In a statement submitted to Fox News today, Patrick Burwell, founder of the
evangelistic ministry OnlyJesusSaves.com, congratulated Brit Hume for his
“wise and succinct counsel” given to Tiger Woods.
“I would like to shake Mr. Hume’s hand for the clarity of his advise to
Tiger Woods on why Christianity is exclusively capable of redeeming Wood’s
life. The startling revelations of Tiger’s many adulterous acts left many
dismayed. Mr Hume has stated the truth that only Jesus can save Tiger
Woods.”
Burwell went on to say, “Christians should all be so bold to proclaim the
truth as unwaveringly. My hope is to see Mr. Hume not back down ‘one jot or
tittle’, but to remain a strong advocate for the exclusive faith in Jesus
Christ.”
