In a.recent Epoch Times article the author questions why Christian churches are struggling how to secure their churches from mass shootings, to keep their congregations safe.
I don’t understand.
What part of being a Christian adult says that you’re supposed to ask someone else to protect you? When did Christianity become so spineless?
So many preachers actually claim that Christianity is pacifism, but real love is not weak but strong, real love protects and defends; real Love cares enough to stand in the way of evil. So how did so many generations grow up believing that even their own defense wasn’t their responsibility? When did Jesus’ people become such wimps? George Washington certainly wasn’t, so what happened?!?
It’s easy to show in God’s written Word that one responsibility before Him is to defend the weak, to stand up for the oppressed, and to speak for the helpless. But somewhere along the line, the idea of love became weakness. The concept of being a doormat was preached as loving, ” Oh no, it’s okay, let me turn the other cheek”. That’s not at all what those verses were talking about.
You’re not only expected to defend the oppressed, but God demands that you not be a coward about it. Indeed, cowardice is listed as a deadly sin.
Count how many people you see walking around armed in public, and you’ll see the problem right away.
America has been essentially disarmed by the preaching of pacifism as Chridtianity, from the pulpit. And I believe that was a deliberate deception perpetrated by those who want to control this nation, to stop Christianity specifically, and to make people believe it’s not their responsibility to stop evil, it’s not their job, it’s someone else’s.
Are you in trouble? Just call a cop. Isn’t that his job?!?
Well no. The job of law enforcement and peace officers is to help the citizen keep the peace not to be the sole arbiter of security. We don’t want a military state and to allow only police to be armed is to be governed by armed people, a military junta. And they will NOT defend you against evil…
Just look what Venezuela was going through since 1992. When Maduro, and people like him, started, their socialist ideology they ended with people so hungry they ate their zoo animals. In 1992, Venezuela was one of the top grossing nations. And now they are so poor that our country had to go in and take down their terrorist president, to keep him from sending more fentanyl into our nation. They couldn’t even control this guy but now the political prisoners of Maduro are released and their nation is celebrating!
The United States of America came about because pastors preached the truth from the pulpit. And those sermons became the founding documents of our nation (see Prageru.com for details). And we now save many from oppression, as we should.
We’d had a complete reversal of that founding ideology that Christians lead the way in battle. That Godly ideology, that came from the pulpit was so altered that even Godly men I looked up to are spouting spineless pacifism.
Voddie Baucham was a great guy. But he and I had personally had a heated disagreement about whether Christians should be arming those who are being attacked and oppressed by islam in other nations. Do you know it used to be that CHRISTIAN missionaries were sent out armed? Not just armed, but they sent them with browning machine guns to defend the oppressed!
So what changed?
I can tell you that it goes right back to the preaching of the Law of God as the precursor to the Gospel. Without preaching the Law Christianity became the spineless message of life enhancement, that prevalent false gospel.that God has a wonderful plan for your life, instead of you owing Him who gave you this wonderful life, and that should repent of your ingratitude demonstrated in sins, that you deserve what you get to reject His Son’s sacrifice! You rarely hear such a clear message anymore. And so, the only ministries that seem to be funded today are the charlatans like Joel Osteen, that lie to your face, as long as you keep sending in money. These false teachers will literally say whatever you want as long as you keep funding them. They make Christ’s sacrifice of no affect and even deny that only Jesus is the way to the Father!!! I have heard Joel Osteen say that he wasn’t sure that only Jesus saves. He wasnt SURE Muslims wouldn’t also!!!

And that preaching has translated all the way up to the leadership of our nation. Most in Ckngress are bought and sold rather than Godly moral representation.
We had a real awakening with President Trump being re-elected but we nearly lost him. Unless we continue that positive direction, we can expect our nation to have a terrible downfall. The very fact that gentle srraight taling Christian Charlie Kirk was shot dead in broad daylight is a clear indicator of the issues we face. The very idea a President could be shot in our own country demonstrates the pinnacle of disaster we teeter on. Even now state governors are declaring war on our own federal government, threatening state military responses to federal officers enforcing the law.
One false slip and we’re done.
Christianity is not pacifism, so stop preaching that lie. Use the law of God to clearly explain what Sin is, and do it TODAY, so the grace of God’s wonderful mercy, called the Gospel, found through Jesus alone, becomes amazing to every hearer. And maybe, just maybe, if enough of us preach The Truth that Only Jesus saves, we get not only our nation back, but the world turning back to God in Spirit and in Truth, and speak that truth to one another, that all woukd stop living this lie of irresponsibility.
