?A BIBLICAL resolution is always the best solution. Incarceration is inhumane and far too costly for the result. Prisons should not be a business any Christian should support.
CLOSE ALL PRISONS after giving the prisoners a choice of the three Biblical punishments:
Capital punishment (restitution either by pay or service)
Corporal punishment (A Biblical beating)
Capitol punishment (A Biblical remedy for murder)
While prisons clearly existed in Biblical times the Laws God gave Israel do not make any provision for prisons like exist today.
Christians should advocate for Biblical solutions.
